Model Reveals How Smoking Weed Has Positively Affected Her Sex Life

As many female readers will undoubtedly be aware, a new scientific study has uncovered a link between marijuana use and enhanced pleasure for women during sex

Publishing their findings in the medical journal Sexual Medicine, a team of gynecologists and behavioural scientists from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine found female marijuana users were more likely to enjoy satisfactory orgasms and enhanced libidos, as well as suffering less pain during sex.

As interesting as these findings are, plenty of sexually empowered women had this connection figured out long ago, having already combined their love of sex and weed in a way that works for them. And absolutely fair play to them.

Media spoke with Elysia from Buxton, Derbyshire, who uses cannabis recreationally. 28-year-old Elysia runs a sex toy and lingerie business, and considers herself to be ‘sexually empowered’.

Elysia spoke candidly with UNILAD about the profoundly positive effect cannabis has had on her sex life:

I’ve used cannabis recreationally since my late teens and find that it has positively affected my sex life.

I experience a heightened sense of pleasure, feel more relaxed, and creative!
Elysia certainly isn’t the only one to experience these heightened sensations, which – while supported by many evenings worth of anecdotal girl talk – is also backed up with plenty of scientific evidence.

As the recent study from from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine concluded:

Marijuana appears to improve satisfaction with orgasm. A better understanding of the role of the endocannabinoid system in women is important, because there is a paucity of literature, and it could help lead to development of treatments for female sexual dysfunction.

Plenty of women have chosen to share this under-discussed aspect of their sex lives through their adult modelling work, incorporating a weed positive attitude into their photographs, videos and social media presence.

‘Miss Pots’ is one such woman. Having been awarded second place at the Las Vegas Cannabis Model of the Year awards, this elaborately tattooed adult model is also the lead budtender at Acres dispensary in Las Vegas.

For those who don’t know, the Acres Dispensary is a 20,000 square foot, 24/7 dispensary in the middle of Las Vegas, complete with an educational museum and an underground marijuana farmers’ market.

There is also a kitchen serving up culinary level cannabis infused edibles including blueberry donuts, and chocolate drizzled popcorn. Basically, this is a venue which takes the potential of weed seriously, with Miss Pots being one of their most visible ambassadors.

A favourite on ‘Weedstagram’, Miss Pots regularly shares photographs of herself posing with cannabis products and instruments with her 60.8k followers, a fandom whom she fondly describes as a ‘huge loving community’.

Miss Pots’ relationship with weed is deeply personal. As a sufferer of muscular dystrophy, she found marijuana gave her far greater relief from her aches and pains than any regular pain medication she had been prescribed.

Muscular dystrophy refers to a group of inherited conditions which lead to muscle weakness and deterioration of muscle tissue. Such disorders get progressively worse over time, with many sufferers eventually left unable to walk.

As of yet, there is no known cure, with treatments instead focused on managing symptoms and preventing further complications. Intriguingly, a study first published in 1977 found evidence to suggest cannabis could help to alleviate some of the painful effects of muscular dystrophy.

Miss Pots first tried weed as a means of treating her pain at the age of 17, after a friend suggested it. Now nearing 30, Miss Pots hasn’t looked back, and credits cannabis for allowing her to cope with the condition long term.

Her mother – who also suffers from muscular dystrophy – was left unable to walk without assistance by her late twenties, while Miss Pots is still capable of climbing the stairs without difficulty.

Miss Pots told media weed has proven a saviour since her teenage years:

Marijuana has helped me so much since I was 17 years old. I smoke every day and it helps to take care of the muscle aches and pains and also helps me to relax my muscles so I’m not so tense all the time.

I honestly don’t know where I would be without it. I never liked the pain pills I was given […] But with marijuana, I am still me and I still get the relief I need.
Refusing to let the condition define or limit her, Miss Pots has been able to transform her saving grace into a lucrative niche kink.

Miss Pots first began incorporating weed into her adult modelling nine years ago, with her fanbase responding enthusiastically to her open and proud enthusiasm.

She smokes weed on camera for loyal fans on her adult premium social media accounts, and makes this activity a key part of her solo adult performances.

Far more than just a simple addition to her act, Miss Pots views marijuana as being an integral part of her sexual identity:

I wouldn’t be me without weed, it’s been so long now that it’s part of my identity. My whole sexual niche is based around it and it’s really helped me build up my Teddy’s Girls fan base who love me incorporating weed into my shows.

Miss Pots feels that combining adult modelling with marijuana has had a hugely positive impact on her life so far, explaining:

I feel it helps me relax and be my true self which my fans love.
She also ‘one hundred per cent’ agrees that women need greater awareness of the potential cannabis can offer their overall sexual satisfaction, telling Media:

I make sure to tell women about it all the time when they come into the dispensary I work at!

Whatever your personal opinion may be on marijuana, Miss Pots has overcome the limitations of a painful and debilitating condition while pursuing work she feels passionately about.

It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Miss Pots has used it as a source of strength, allowing her to regain control over her body, explore her sexual identity and become part of a growing community.

All power to her.
